Félicitations Cynthia Trogisch-Teixeira!
Cynthia has taught French and Spanish, levels 1 through 4 Honors/ AP at the high school level, and French immersion in New England for 21 years before moving to South Carolina in the summer of 2021. She served as an executive board member of the AATF in Rhode Island from 2009 to 2020 as their social and educational chair. In her role at AATFRI she organized workshop opportunities and social events for teachers of French all over New England to come together informally and also to collaborate. In addition, she managed the various social media accounts for AATFRI and posted regularly to members. She was the liaison for the state World Language conference (RIFLA) committee, has contributed each quarter to the local AATF Bulletin and was on the AATF convention committee in 2013 when it was located in Providence, RI. Cynthia is currently a French Immersion teacher at Sullivan IB Middle School in Rock Hill, SC and we look forward to the enthusiastic energy she will bring to our executive board and chapter of AATFSC.

Félicitations to Jennifer Reschly!
This award, given by the American Association of Teachers of French annually, recognizes highly successful French teachers who also participate in conferences, are leaders in the foreign language field, and serve in their professional organizations. Jennifer will be honored at the Awards Ceremony at the AATF convention in
New Orleans this July.
Jennifer teaches at Clover High School.
